Texas Rockers Blacktop Mojo steal the spotlight with this cover of Aerosmith classic , “Dream On”. A monster of a song and vocal, but they nail it, with Matt James going toe to toe with Steven Tyler’s primal wails and screams. This cover led me to the band’s website and music – – – which is best described as a fiery blend of post-grunge, classic rock, and metal that falls somewhere between Soundgarden, Black Stone Cherry, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Be sure to check out their album “Burn the Ships” / March 2017 on Cuhmon Records.

New solo release from Coyle Girelli, previously of ‘Your Vegas’, and frontman for ‘The Chevin’. * (check these bold and powerful albums out too – “A Town and Two Cities” , Your Vegas , and “Borderland” , The Chevin )*
This is the first single from his debut solo album, “Love Kills” to be released this summer on Honey Lemon records. Girelli spent time in songwriting sessions with music legend Mac Davis, which he states were pivotal in the evolution of the songs in the new album. Stating huge influences from the likes of Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash, Girelli emotes his own unique moody, romantic spirit to his music, which he labels as “Modern Noir”.
This velvety smooth crooner does what he does best —creating an intriguing, vintage sounding ballad across a lush guitar soundscape.
